Off-Season Training

Get ready for winter with our sport-specific programs and take your training to the next level! We offer various year-round program options to keep your skills sharp during the Off-Season.

Our qualified coaches provide movement-based training emphasizing flexibility, strength and injury prevention. Training is open to all ages, abilities and sports disciplines, so bring a friend!

 

 

Training is based in West Vancouver and is movement-based, providing great conditioning for the physical requirements of our sport, with an emphasis on cardio, strength, flexibility, and conditioning. 

Our qualified coaches run this sport-specific training program on Tuesdays & Thursdays from September to December. Open to all ages and sports-bring a friend!

All participants MUST have and will be prompted to purchase a current Freestyle BC & Canada Membership to participate (valid July 1st-June 30th)

Air sense is an essential component of freestyle skiing. Trampoline training is offered to improve the agility, coordination, strength and endurance necessary to advance freestyle skiing skills safely. Athletes are expected to have learned basic trampoline and tumbling skills, as our freestyle trampoline program is focused on air maneuvers. Open to all ages and sports-bring a friend!

Water Ramp training is the best opportunity for athletes to take their “Air Skills” to the next level! This training is integral to Freestyle Skiing and bridges the gap between trampoline training and on-snow tricks like Back Flips.

Flip into Summer and build new skills for the upcoming winter. If your goal is to dial in a new trick or get upside down, these camps can help get you there!

Prerequisites

  • 10+ years old
  • Current Freestyle Canada membership
  • Confident parallel skier on black terrain

Air Qualifications

Our certified coaches can qualify ready athletes to flip on snow but there is no guarantee that athletes will complete air qualifications at this camp. For safety reasons, athletes who prove to be unfamiliar or unsafe during the camp will be asked to withdraw with no option for a refund.
